Dr. Sa-ad Iddrisu is a distinguished economist with a PhD from Wayne State University and
extensive expertise in macroeconomic and monetary policy, economic growth, and economic
damage analysis. Currently serving as Economic Advisor at Ghana’s Ministry of Finance, he
provides critical fiscal and monetary policy support, drives national budget research, and
represents the Ministry in both local and international forums.
Previously, as Chief Economist for the Louisiana State Government (LED), he advised governors and other state
agencies, contributing to over $30 billion in new investments and significant job creation. His
analytical skills utilise advanced tools such as Stata and Python to improve economic
forecasting accuracy.
Dr. Iddrisu has also been a dedicated educator, teaching economics and
statistics at Wayne State University and Essex County College, where he enhanced student
research capabilities. His career includes leadership in workforce training and grant
management, complemented by memberships in professional economic associations such as
the American Economic Association (AEA) and multiple certifications in leadership and
macroeconomic diagnostics. He is recognised for combining academic rigour with practical
policy impact.
Susanna is an experienced investment professional whose career spans over a decade in the stock
brokerage and investment banking industry.
She started work as a client service representative at UMB Stockbrokers Limited, where she acquired a lot of
knowledge of the stock market. Whilst at UMB, she was part of the team that handled the operations
procedures during the SIC and GOIL IPOs, as well as the right issue of Republic Bank.
She later joined IC Securities Ghana Limited as an operations analyst, where she managed the back
office operations of the Securities Trading Desk.
Susanna joined SIC FSL as an investment officer in the Asset Management Department, where she
managed wealth management clients, Provident fund, and pension clients. She was later reassigned to
the Treasurer of SIC FSL and is currently acting as the Head of the Asset Management department of SIC
FSL.
She holds a master’s degree in project management from GIMPA and a Diploma in Business Administration
from GIMPA, licenced as an investment representative from the Securities and Exchange Commission,
holder of BFA in Theatre Management from the University of Ghana, Legon, and currently a student of
the Chartered Institute of Securities Industry (UK).
Mr. Ofori is licensed by the Ghana Stock Exchange and the Securities and Exchange Commission as a dealer in securities on the Ghanaian bourse. He is a member of the Ghana Stockbrokers Association and the Chartered Institute of Bankers. He holds an MBA in Banking and Finance from the Paris Graduate School of Management, Paris France and BSc Admin in Banking and Finance from the University of Ghana, Legon. He also holds a certificate in Domestic Debt Management in West Africa, issued by the WAIFEM/UNITAR.
Prior to joining SIC Financial Services, Seth was an Associate Vice-President of IC Securities (Ghana) Ltd. responsible for heading the Brokerage Department having previously worked with SDC Brokerage Services as an Authorised Dealing Officer. As a licensed dealer with several years of experience, he initiated and executed numerous block trades worth millions of Ghana Cedis on the Ghanaian bourse on behalf of both local and foreign institutional investors. He is an avid writer of stock market articles in both local and international newspapers and magazines.
Mr. James Amo-Aboagye is the Head of Internal Audit & Compliance at SIC-FSL. He joined SIC-FSL in Jan. 2009 as the Head of Accounts department and led the team in Financial Management Reporting, Regulatory Compliance supervision, Tax compliance and Annual Budget preparation.
He has over ten years working experience in Audit and Accounting services. Prior to joining SIC-FSL, he was an Audit Senior in Intellisys (Chartered Accountants) and led a team in performing audit and non-audit services in various institutions until Dec. 2008.
James is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA-UK) and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICA) Ghana and the Institute of Internal Auditors Ghana (IIA Ghana). He holds MBA degree in Finance from the Central University College in Ghana.
Mr. Joel Quayson started his career in the Finance Unit of HFC Realty Ltd, the real Estate Subsidiary of HFC Bank (Ghana) Ltd as a Finance Officer in 2006. He moved up to head the Finance department of HFC Investment Services Ltd (A subsidiary of HFC Bank Ghana Ltd) in 2010, a position he held until June 2016.
Joel joined Africa Building Partners AWC Ltd and Concrete Wall Systems in August 2016 as the Chief Financial Officer. He led his teams in Investment Banking, Real Estate Financial Reporting, Financial Management and Reporting, Tax Compliance, Regulatory (SEC and GSE) compliance supervision and Unit Trusts and Mutual funds accounts management and reporting as well as Brokerage. He has been involved in the raising of debt for financing real estate projects and also appraising the issuance of debt/bonds for real estate companies and other financial institutions. Joel is currently the Head of Accounts, SIC Financial Services.
Joel had his first degree in Commerce from the University of Cape Coast in 2006 where he graduated with first class honors. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in November 2009 and is a member of the Institute of the Chartered Account Ghana. He holds MSc Development Finance from the University of Ghana and MBA (Finance) from GIMPA .
